Viking Halvor & Longship Bronze Statue
 
For Valhalla! Halvor means 'Guardian' and this beautifully detailed statue of a Viking Skeppare shows Halvor preparing to sail his boat on a raid. The Skeppare is the epitome of Nordic power with full beard, muscle-bound, minimal armour and horned helmet. He carries a Carolingian sword with a round shield strapped to his thigh. Hanging on to the boat's figurehead, he steers his crew through the volatile Nordsee. 
 
As with all our bronze figures, this piece is carefully cold cast in bronze and finished with meticulous attention to detail.
