This is the Cave of Cruachan or the Cave of Cats, and is said to be the home of The Morrigan. In the deck the card means Initiation, the mysteries. It depicts a portal, a liminal  space and entrance to another realm. It is like the fogous in Cornwall, where the initiate goes into pitch black darkness in order to find new self knowledge and connect to the spirit worlds. 
 
The Cave of Cats is an actual site in Ireland and the small portal has a faerie Hawthorn tree growing above it.
