New Dawn was inspired by the Woodland. I work in as a Forest School teacher here in Devon, and this scene is set in Spring at dawn. This piece was commissioned by a local family whose children have attended the woodland sessions. It is a celebration of children’s awe and wonder in the diverse beauty of the natural world around them and it speaks to me of hope for the future. 
 
It is a reminder me that we are the apex species on the planet and as such we are the custodians of this world. It is our responsibility to do everything within our own individual and collective power to help it survive and thrive.
