Mystic Whale ~ Ceramic Altar Dish

A medium sized free form ceramic altar dish, featuring a sacred whale of the deep seas under a midnight sky full of stars. A tiny yacht is perched on the waves, just above the tip of his nose. This is a beautiful piece to remind us of our innate and sacred connection with the creatures of the waters.
 
The whale altar plate comes in a choice of two gorgeous blue colours:
* Ocean Blue
* Dark Blue
 
This plate measures 150 mm x 140 mm approximately.
 
The Creation Process
Each piece is created slowly. The shape is first modelled carefully by hand; then a coat of colour is applied. Finally the detailed sgraffito-engraved design is added making each plate absolutely unique.
 
Please note that as each item is created individually, there will be small variations in the design and tone of your dish. This is a good thing as it means your special piece is completely unique.
