Danu ~ Mother of the Tuatha De Danaan

Danu is otherwise known as the Celtic Earth Mother, the revered Goddess and Queen of the Tuatha De Danaan. She is the mother of all life and embodies the essence of nurturing, wisdom and abundance.
 
She is beautifully portrayed here in hand painted bronze; holding the flowing waters of Eriu in her open hands, as she stands serenely against a rocky outcrop.
